Our Mission

The PSIM journey began in 2006 when Jackie Brainerd’s mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and six months later Jackie heard a radio advertisement for Susan G. Komen 3-Day. Jackie recruited her sister and together they created Pink Soles In Motion.

Pink Soles in Motion is organized and operated for charitable purposes related to raising funds or other property that provides support for victims of cancer; or for support of the families of victims of cancer; or for research of cancer; or for the cure and eradication of cancer.  Pink Soles in Motion is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

 

 

 

Michele’s Gift of Hope

Michele’s Gift of Hope is a program within the Pink Soles in Motion organization that provides support in response to the medical, financial, and emotional burdens that accompany a cancer diagnosis.

Members of the PSIM team are encouraged to nominate potential recipients to the Michele’s Gift of Hope committee by applying at Michele’s Gift of Hope.
